About NACA

The National Association for Campus Activities™ (NACA) advances campus activities in higher education through a business and learning partnership, creating educational and business opportunities for its school and professional members. Established in 1960 to help increase the buying power of campus programming dollars, NACA now has more than 1,000 college and university members and close to 650 associate members who represent artists, lecturers and performers.

Campus Entertainment was formed originally as a subsidiary, owned and operated by NACA, along with 3 external operating partners. Current Campus Entertainment President Mark Hall served as the Associate Director for NACA when the idea to create the company came to fruition. Mark identified a need to create genuine, unique branding and experiential marketing campaigns for the college audience in their backyard…ON CAMPUS. Too often corporate brands were creating marketing programs targeting college students that just didn't work either because their messaging was not resonating with the campus lifestyle or the programs themselves were simply rejected by campuses as "too corporate" to be allowed on campus.

NACA's heritage and industry respect allowed Campus Entertainment to build relationships with key stakeholders on campuses across the country. These relationships are the foundation Campus Entertainment's operating model, offering our clients what no other youth marketing agency can offer – college campus consultation to create the most effective campaign to truly connect with the college market. In 2009, Campus Entertainment became a private entity, owned and operated by private investors. At that time, Campus Entertainment entered into a long-term agreement, becoming the exclusive youth marketing agency for NACA.
